The Respect Life committee of San Juan del Rio with the direction of the United States Conference of Catholic Bishops, Bishop Pohlmeier, and Father Peter will be having daily Holy Hour from 7:30 am – 3:30 pm at San Juan del Rio’s Chapel behind the main altar. This Holy Hour is a committed focus to defeat Amendment 4. The amendment’s words are deceptive and in actuality will … “seek to erase protections by inserting language into the Florida Constitution prohibiting regulation of abortion. The amendment would allow late-term abortions (9 months) beginning at 5 weeks when the baby is capable of feeling pain. It would eliminate laws requiring parental consent and safety protocols for women. It would be embedded in the Constitution.”
Please prayerfully consider praying a Holy Hour in front of the exposed Monstrance for the defeat of Amendment 4 which aims to destroy lives, our religious morality, and our Christian faith. Invite a friend and be an evangelist for God. Please continue to educate yourself about this amendment.
