Faith Over Fear Rally is made up of faithful laymen of the Diocese of St. Augustine from all parishes, both ordinary and extraordinary forms, who have decided to choose Faith over fear. Heartbroken and dismayed at the shutdown of our churches last year, and the subsequent denial of sacraments, we want to do all we can, by supporting our clergy and our bishop, to ensure that we are allowed to worship God fully at Holy Mass in our churches. To that end:
- We want to see the end of the mask mandates in our diocese and parishes
- We want an end to “drive thru” Holy Communion
- We request the restoration of the powerful sacramental of Holy Water to all churches
- We encourage our clergy to be heroically courageous in living out their priestly vocations in spite of secular pressure to conform our sacramental practice to unjust state mandates
- And we want to provide support, encouragement and resources to each other and to clergy to strive for holiness in these difficult times
